School news • Chana Seitz of Hartville received an Academic Achievement Award from the CentralNorth Carolina Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. The award recognizes her accomplishments as a meteorological student at North Carolina State University. She attended Field High School and plans to pursue graduate work at Florida State University.
